What powers SportZone from VEQTOR?

Circuit Coach powers platforms which give you a range of programmable exercises and activities for the ultimate fun exergaming.

With Circuit Coach, you can choose which exercise you want to do and challenge yourself to improve, with instant score and time feedback shown on the scoreboard and via audio. You can even use Circuit Coach to compete against others, with real-time scoring and adrenaline pumping audio encouragement.

How it works

Circuit Coach is a control system which measures time and performance of each individual participating in their chosen activity.

Each control system's ‘station’ has a different set of activities available, including running, jumping, lunging, throwing, and so much more.

The score board and speaker unit at each station has a touch point.

Participants touch their pre-programmed gameqee for the activity they want to do to the touch point. The unit will then give them a countdown to start their chosen exercise. Throughout the exercise they will get sound effect feedback and, at the end, the unit gives them both visual and audio feedback with their score, and celebration of what they've achieved.

The combination of both visual and audio feedback means that children with visual impairment get the benefit of the audio feedback and those with hearing impairment get instant visual feedback.

Standard station panels measure 1200 x 1200 x 100 mm.

Minimum floorspace required

Each ‘station’ can be mounted out of the way on the perimeter walls of your sports/activities room.

This way the room can still be used for multiple activities and it maximises the value you get from the space. It also limits your ‘tear down’ time in-between alternative activity uses.

Lots of options that encourage getting active

Each ‘station’ can have either 2 players or 2 teams using it at a time. The ‘stations’ have a 2 team / player scoreboard which counts up points measuring the participants' performance as well as a count down timer.

The Circuit Coach systems encourage participants to get active, get competitive and get fit without them even realising it because the design upholds VEQTOR's core philosophy of having fun while you keep healthy.

The concept also reflects elements of the home use market as seen in Wii fit etc.

Potential for Circuit Training

A great way of using the Circuit Coach is to have multiple units in one area, each set to measure a certain type of fitness activity.

The participants can then do a circuit of all the units, moving from one exercise to another.

With the addition of some software, each participant's individual gameqee can then be used to record their performance and that info can be downloaded at a central point and printed out.
