SportZone activity - Tizzball

The following key elements are the primary differentiators of TIZZBALL from other Ball Games.

Basic TIZZBALL:
• Two or more goals per team
• Goal locations teleport after each goal

TIZZBALL League:
• No turnover to other team between goals
• Games are played in an enclosed court so that the ball stays in play for the set.
• Play is fast and fun to watch as a spectator
• Turnover only takes place when:
    • 3 minute set starts
    • foul or breach of rules is made
    • the ball goes out of play

TIZZBALL Street Extreme:
• More than one ball is in play at the same time (generally two)

Game Rulez

TIZZBALL is unique:
• Two or more goals per team
• Goals locations teleport after each goal
• Ball is in play at all times
• No turnover to opposing team between goals

TIZZBALL:
• Tizzball is played by two (2) teams consisting of five (5) to eight (8) players.
• The aim of each team is to hit its own target goals to score points and to defend the opposition's goals and prevent them from scoring.

GOAL:
• 600 mm disk with intergrated vibration sensors and flashing lights.
• When the goal is hit by the Tizzball, the goal teleports to a new location.

WINNER:
• The team that has scored the great number of goals when the game timer reaches zero (0) is the winner.

COURT:
• Tizzball can be played in many existing indoor venues,
    • Basketball
    • Indoor Football (soccer)
    • Netball
    • Korfball
    • Squash (Fast Court League)
• There are no boundaries so the Tizzball is always in play.

TIME:
• The game shall consist of three (3) periods of three (3) to five (5) minutes.

BALL HANDLING:
• The Tizzball is played with hands only and may be,
    • passed
    • thrown
    • tapped
    • rolled
    • dribbled
in any direction.
• Handling violations are
    • running with the Tizzball
    • deliberately kicking or blocking the Tizzball with any part of the leg or foot
    • striking the Tizzball with the fist

Game Conceptz

School Rulez
    • 8 players per team
    • no dribbling, pass within 3 seconds
    • players limited to one zone
    • teams matched by size and/or gender
    • no physical contact

Street Rulez
    • 7 players per team
    • single dribble, pass within 3 seconds
    • players limited to two (2) zones
    • no physical contact

          Street Extreme
             • 2 Tizzballs in play

League Rulez
    • 5 players per team
    • unlimited dribble, no passing time restrictions
    • players not limited by zones
    • close player interaction
