GYMKIDS sparks interest at IAAPA 2010Mixed in with a highly entertaining trip to, and behind the scenes of, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the show estimates tell us the number of registered visitors rose to 25,000, with the important figure for Qualified Buyers, nudging up to around 14,800.
In the current climate, it was interesting to note the higher proportion of European visitors to the show, with the USA contingent carrying a cautious buying approach on the whole.
From Booth 3465, VEQTOR flew the GYMKIDS flag and drew huge levels of interest in our mobile activities - aimed at operators who need to be able to travel between venues and pack away and transport their equipment without having to invest in a large, expensive to run vehicle.
Soccer Matrix was the star turn. The interactive soccer skills training game is robust, affordable, easy to understand and instantly popular with all ages. We had one young boy who came to see us every day to see if he could improve on his score. There's no better endorsement than the honest smiles of a satisfied young customer!
And our user-friendly flight case package for mobile laser tag operators brings a new and ultimately practical approach to providing party bookings wherever the client wants. The enduring popularity of laser tag means this new addition to the laser tag offering from VEQTOR makes your income earning power soar.
The other activity which visitors loved was SoundSteps, a ready-made game which gives players a choice of fun options to play and learn at the same time. The simple concept - coloured, numbered mats are placed on the floor and the game card is slotted in the control box, guiding the players to step on the right mats at the right time - makes this a brilliant learning tool as well as an enduringly entertaining addition to your nursery or softplay centre.
