VEQTOR Gymkids hosts visit from Jeremy Hunt MP

JEREMY HUNT MP TO VISIT SW SURREY INTERACTIVE SPORTS PROVIDER VEQTOR GYMKIDS The Rt. Hon. Jeremy Hunt, Secretary of State for Culture, Media, Olympics and Sport, and MP for South West Surrey, is visiting independent local sports and interactive games provider VEQTOR Gymkids on November 12th to see first hand how a local business is succeeding in the field of children's fitness.

From its UK headquarters in Brook, near Godalming, VEQTOR Gymkids' range of fun, entertaining activities gives children from nursery age up a new, alternative and fun way of getting into sport, and keeping fit.

With an emphasis on social inclusion, no matter the potential physical limitations of the user, Gymkids activities are already very popular in schools across the UK. From training aids such as ball-skills games Soccer Matrix and Sport Trainer, laser tag, or even web racing on exercise bikes hooked up to screen icons, the company is confident Mr Hunt will see how positively suppliers to the market such as Gymkids are receiving his and the current government's encouragement for sports in schools.

Jeremy Hunt's backing for inter-school sport in particular, leading up to the 'Schools Olympics' in 2012, has the management and design team at Gymkids excited about the next few years.

Bringing together local leisure centres with local schools and community-active parents by providing the facilities which will both inspire and engage young people is key to Gymkids' success.

“Having our local member for parliament show an interest is invaluable in boosting our enthusiasm to go forward with our work in children's fitness equipment,” said VEQTOR Gymkids Managing Director Jonathan Plache.

“We are very much looking forward to speaking with Mr. Hunt and showing him some alternative and popular ways to engage children, and keep them active and healthy.”
