VEQTOR Gymkids has installed a variety of fun new interactive sports at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre. As part of a £1m investment by Greenwich Leisure Limited, working in partnership with the London Development Agency (LDA), a range of fun interactive new products from VEQTOR Gymkids are now available at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in London. With a strong emphasis on youth fitness, this latest project is also geared towards giving the centre operators maximum flexibility by providing fully mobile activities, which can be put away when not in use. Even VEQTOR's popular Sport Trainer Walls, situated in the Dance Studio, can be wheeled away when the room is needed for classes.
VEQTOR Gymkids' activities are suitable for all ages, but are particularly good for inspiring young people to become engaged, build their self confidence, and ultimately, get fit whilst having fun.
As improvements continue at the Crystal Palace site, VEQTOR Gymkids will be working alongside GLL to keep the activities offered fresh and engaging.
The total budget for the ongoing programme of improvements at Crystal Palace is around £20m, putting the centre at the heart of sporting excellence in the capital.
Ongoing improvements are reflected in membership levels, with over a thousand additional users of the centre's facilities already - a figure which is expected to keep rising.
GLL partnership manager Tony Wallace said: "With the London Olympics and Paralympics on the horizon, our aim is for the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre to be a hub of excellence in sport, oth leading up to 2012 and beyond.
"We want it to provide a lasting legacy for London."
